This morning, Jeff and I decided to hit two estate sales. We haven't been to any estates sales in weeks, so I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the first had nothing of interest and the second wasn't much better. We ended up with three purchases total and one of them was a pile of hanging files. Woohoo.
I'm starting to think that, since I am weak, maybe the universe is imposing my shopping ban for me. That I won't really find a whole lot that speaks to me until I take care of my promise to list everything I have. Just in case, I'm going to kick up the effort to get it done.
Here is a sneak preview of things to come to my Etsy shop. Please forgive the pictures - I took them inside, at night, and I didn't want to use a flash. I promise they'll look better in my shop :)
I just had to pick up this cute little sea shell owl. I mean, look at it! The guy who sold it to me said it was ugly :(
I just LOVE this wooden pedestal bowl. Can't wait to photograph it with some bright green apples in it.
I like globes. And with a vintage one, you get geography and history lessons.
This is one of the few things I've bought that I want to keep (although Jeff would say it's more than a few things I want to keep). It's a Royal KMM typewriter. It's just so darn cool. And the thought of selling it to someone who might just harvest the keys gives me the willies.
This vegetable bowl is so pretty. Very cottage-y.
And, of course, there's gotta be some Pyrex in there somewhere! I admit it, I am Pyrexic.
